Day 69: HE SPEAKS!

This morning, I received a FaceTime call from Mike's case worker. She looked super excited, and she was running towards Mike's room. When she got there, she put Mike on and...

HE SAID "HI."

Yesterday when I was up there they told me he said some words, but I honestly wasn't sure I believed them - but today he is suddenly communicating in full sentences. His voice is very gravely and weak, and we can understand about half of it. I asked him if I could come to visit him today and he said "Sure, sure, sure." When I asked him what I could bring for him, he answered me but I couldn't really make it out. I almost think I heard "Billie and Charlie" though... maybe.
