Send love for Mike - in the ICU

Updates:

Friday 4:30pm.. He seems to be breathing a lot easier, and not coughing so much on ventilator or needing to be suctioned. He appears to be resting and not agitated like he was when he came in. Just waiting for a room to become available.

Hi friends. It's been a while.

Mike was taken by ambulance today from his nursing home to the ER with difficulty breathing and tachycardia. He arrived unconscious, and has been intubated. He has "severe" pneumonia in his right lung and sepsis, which is surprising to me because I didn't know he was sick. He's going to be in the ICU for several days.

I really wanted to call Dad today. When stuff like this happened, he always affirmed me, told me he trusted me to make the right decision, and thanked me for being there for Mike. This sucks.
